Chris, I like the shot very much which I assume you got on your trip to Blenheim? The music is a little loud for morning but ah yes I can turn down the volume, Ha!

Very nice. As soon as I looked at it, I started hearing Ian Hunter’s Letter To Britannia From The Union Jack — now, I’ll be humming it all day…

Great WW post, it looks like a fine family outing! It’s fun to stumble upon a movie set like that, I’m sure you will be curious to see it when it is released! Cheers!

Thanks for poppin’ in on my blog! Nice to know that CHS turned out some intelligent people, although, I tend to think it was acheived elsewhere. You are correct in the assumption that I do not like it here. We’re from Califorinia originally (damned left-coaster) and then lived in Indiana (Yanks!) for 8 years. I’ve tried to adapt, but, alas, it seems I am failing. You wouldn’t believe how LC has grown, according to the ‘lifers’ here.
Have a wonderful day! Pray for me, I don’t want to die here… lol

There are so many things to comment on with this picture, Chris! I’m fascinated by all the gold medallions on the black wrought iron fence. The red coats are gorgeous and the crowd, wow they’re so nice and clean for the time period.
I think the best thing about this picture is knowing its back story. I hope your next official family outing goes as well.
I think Blogger was burping when you came by earlier… thanks for commenting in spite of not being able to view the image. Its there now.
Happy WW!

Thanks for visiting my WW! This is my second child to get her license, and I am so excited, I have much less driving to do now! More time for important things, like blogging.

I love that it is from the perspective of behind the guards! So cool! It would be cool to see a progression photo of the guards standing in the same position, same uniform but the period clothing on the crowd keeps changing. Happy WW!
