This is the first time I’ve been in a Santa hat in over twenty years. In recognition of my heart’s growth of three sizes, enjoy Ben Folds’ track from the remake of the Grinch.
Is Santa making a menace of himself? This is the face my daughter wore when she was that size and the Big Elf was around. She preferred him to be in his North Pole palace busy at work!
Then he got an idea!
An awful idea!
THE GRINCH
GOT A WONDERFUL, AWFUL IDEA!
“I know just what to do!” The Grinch Laughed in his throat.
And he made a quick Santy Claus hat and a coat.
And he chuckled, and clucked, “What a great Grinchy trick!
“With this coat and this hat, I’ll look just like Saint Nick!”
Looks like Zach isn’t with all this…looking like what the heck is all this that grown ups do. Or was it just the look of a burp? Great shot for the family album.
I’m sure it wasnt in regards to Santa that a certain little dude once exclaimed … ‘What you talkin’ about Willis’ - though from this cute little guys face … it could very well have been.
All the silly red hats etc must strike babies as being really odd - especially when for the most part of the year we’re all relatively serious and certainly dont wear silly hats!
Chris, I don’t know which is better you in the Santa hat or the look on the little one’s face? Thanks for the song from the “Grinch.” When I taught high school I used to read that story to my class at Christmastime - they loved it!
Ha! Nice hat Zach looks so big in that picture, and SO CUTE!! I’m warning you, if he gets any yummier and squishier, I’m just gonna have to come across the ocean and… well… hug him and squeeze him and call him George!
hey chris, this picture is indeed wordless. to wrap your kid’s body is really meaningful. i wish to be pregnant one day hehehe.although right now im suspecting that i am pregnant but the confirmation will be very soon. thanks for welcoming me in the world of WW
Thanks for the Grinch quote. It is a well known fact that one’s children increase the size and capacity of one’s heart. You just don’t get it til you’ve had your own.
