Happy Mother’s Day
For reasons known only to a handful of English dowagers, Mother’s Day (Mothering Sunday) falls on the fourth Sunday of Lent in the British Isles. I suspect that this vacillating date was established both to test British boys’ piety and to confuse the young lads, potentially leading to a full year of maternal guilt.
Z, with a bit of help from a little bird, passed both tests and gave Dr. O’C her first Mother’s Day gift.

daffodils at this time of year everything al springy, easter too and my birthday and my mum’s brithday so I like this time of year!

That is a seriously beautiful picture Chris. Now the bad news is that in Aus Mother’s Day fall son the first (or is it second) Sunday in May…so you’re going to have to do it all over again!
