First leg done. The Orlando to L.A. flight was pretty much a breeze, with the exception that the whole plane reeked of urine due to a broken toilet. Way to go American Airlines!
Dwight Yoakam was on our flight, I saw him getting off and tapped him on the shoulder and said, “Hey, aren’t you Dwight Yoakam?” He looked annoyed and said “What’s left of me.”
Rock and roll.

That’s so cool! Not so much that Dwight Yoakum sort of dissed you. But that … umm … you saw him and talked to him and got to LA in one piece.

I see your trip is going pretty well so far. Its pretty neat to have seen Dwight Yoakum and his response to you is pretty memorable, in my opinion. I sat across the aisle from Stevie Wonder on a flight a few years ago. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the guts to say anything to him but I still remember the experience vividly.
