Thanks for the mention....been a few days since I've had the chance to stop by or I would have commented sooner.

Went to the Dead Confederate release party at the 40 Watt last friday. Great, great show! Twin Tigers (www.myspace.com/thetwintigers) is another band to be on the lookout for. They were one of the opening acts and I was shocked at how good they were. Just wasn't expecting it if you know what I mean. Was pleasantly surprised. Dead Confederate got on after midnight to a packed house and blew the doors off. I posted a few pictures yesterday @ C&C that photographer Mike White took at the show (photography is a passion of mine and he is really good).

One last thing...a pledge brother(yeah, I was one of those guys, lol) of mine from UGA has a great blog based out of LA at www.aquariumdrunkard.com that I think you'll like. Funny thing is a few friends of mine were reading it for months not even knowing who it was that wrote it. Great site for music. Actually, it might be the best on the web. Seriously.

Really enjoy your site. Big, Big weekend Between the Hedges. Here's hoping we jump all over Bama early and often. Take care.

you think the delta spirit sound slick? i thought they sounded kind of ramshackle--not in a bad way, but like they were jamming on some late night just having a whole lot of fun. i'd love to see them live, as i think the record sounds very organic. trashcan is my favorite track off the record.

mjrcs last blog post..<a href="http://lostinyourinbox.blog-city.com/maybe_its_the_coffee_talking_but_i_really_like_these_songs.htm" rel="nofollow">Maybe It's the Coffee Talking, But I Really Like These Songs</a>

These are some nice tunes, esp. Delta Spirit and Dead Confederates. Some ear candy to get me through the last week of exam hell.
