That was not the outcome I was hoping for. Remember that time the snake ate the gator and then the snake exploded, but the gator died, too? That was the result I was after.

Looks like the Dawgs exploded, but the Gator got away…but not before enjoying a tasty, tasty bull dog snack. Sorry bout that.

Still, at least you didn’t lose on the road to South Carolina for the first time in 16 years.

You know Texas went down in such a heartbreaking way because I went so globally public with my fandom. Nothing like a loss in the last 2 seconds of the game. My only solace is that my poor, pathetic little hometown has another 15 minutes of fame.

Nichole – I lost track of the number of times I wasn’t happy in that game.

Dr. O’C – That’s not how karma works.

NATUI – I know. All the more reason to hate Florida.

Joe – I watched the first half. That was enough. Listened to the third quarter and then just gave up.

The Vol – True. It could have been a worse year. At least we beat UT.

Flutter – It’s in the air.

FGIS – It’d be cuter if he had a big victory smile.

Ariza – Life goes on.

Courtney – Texas at least made it tough on Tech.

Nathan – I don’t know that a 2 loss Mizzou makes the BCS bowls. They’ll most likely be a 3 loss Mizzou if they make it to the Big 12 championship.

I was definitely pulling for the Dawgs. After all, I’m a Vol fan. Fulmer’s resignation is expected at anytime. Wonder if Tuberville will be far behind? As long as Vandy continues to lose, it won’t all bad. And the Titans won today so they’re undefeated!

Kansas State, Iowa State, Kansas…three wins there.

A win in the Big 12 (or any of the BCS conferences) championship game gets a BCS bowl invite…maybe a pipe dream, but at least the dream is still alive for a certain team in the Big 12 North.
