One year when I was pissed at my sister I gave her kids finger paints for Christmas. He’s precious.

I’ll be pulling for the Dawgs in the post-season. Best thing is that the Vols pulled it out against the ‘Dores. Happy Down Under Thanksgiving.

Oh, Aquadoodle is cool, but kind of spendy. You can also just paint with water outside on pavement–just doesn’t last. I use Aquadoodle on the airplane with great success.

I’m in a wierd boat because I work from home a few hours a day m-th and I work long days at the spa fridays and saturdays, so I’m kind of a sahm and kind of not. I know there are some cool sahp out there but probably the exception not the rule. Our nanny came today and after I got all my errands and book work done, I went out to lunch by myself. There were a group of women with their kids sitting near me and I couldn’t not help but listen to the conversations and seriously, I thought my ears were going to bleed.

#1 I can’t stand the husband bashing, if my hubs is pissing me off the quickest way to fix it is to tell him not everyone else.

#2 I love my kids, I mean really, I’ve got 3. Yes, they’re amazing but is that all we have to talk about?

#3 Please don’t talk to me about Dr.Phil or Oprah, I have a real distaste for anything billed as “life-affirming.”

I know, I am a parental elitist, that’s probably why I have computer parent friends instead:)

Angel – What on earth is an Aqua Doodle?

SSG – He is!

Tysdaddy – He got chucked in his pool right after this – clean as new.

Muskrat – I have a thing about visible dirt of any kind on my hands. I have to get it off immediately – which makes gardening, finger painting and child rearing extremely difficut. Also has a lot to do with the fact that I work behind a desk!

We were outside and did have a hose. T-giving – come back Thursday.

Courtney – WHen you become a parent you’ll get to the point where you just give up trying to keep things out of their mouths – just let them get on with it.

Jennifer – Non-toxic and washable – I was smart enough to look for those labels. I kind of had a feeling how it was going to go.

Chris – Freedom!

Ariza – Fellow SAHPs scare the shit out of me. Whenever I run across them they annoy me to no end. I think I’ll go it alone for awhile.
