simpsons-nuclear1If you’ve noticed that the science posts have been pretty sparse around here lately then, well then I’m a bit worried about how much attention you’re paying to me. Are you some kind of cyber stalker or something? Huh?

Right, science posts. The thing about science posts is that they’re a lot of work. I have to read scientific papers and do a fair bit of research. They take much longer than a hastily thrown together political rant or observation about parenthood. A couple of months ago, Courtney signed me up as a regular guest on Allie’s Answers – a green blog for which she does some writing. I was happy to oblige, but didn’t realize that doing a monthly science post somewhere else was going to leave things pretty thin on the science front over here.

Never mind, I may get the sack after this post. See, I like to stir up a bit of controversy pretty much everywhere I go. And for this month’s post, I looked at the science behind nuclear power – the third rail of the environmental movement. Check it out at Allie’s Answers.
