I used to go to a kickboxing gym…loved it. Had to quit, as I could rarely leave work early enough to make the last class at 7.30pm, sadly. When I first moved here, I belonged to another boxing gym. Teddy Roosevelt boxed, you know. It’s cool.

It’s funny you liken them to the anti-abortionists because as soon as I read that first paragraph you wrote about them, I started thinking of that Roy Zimmerman song “Kill a Doctor for Christ” –

So, if you terminate a pregnancy

I think I kind of feel something similar toward baskeball that you’re describing with the boxing. I would NEVER be interested in an actual game. Competing or trying to steal a ball from someone would be totally beyond me. But I do like to just stand around tossing the ball into the basket.
